March 2025 Update
Spring is here, and so are a bunch of fresh new features to help you get good at Chinese! This month we focused on making the flashcard system even smoother and more powerful — especially for those of you using the app across multiple devices. Let's dive in!
Flashcard sync is here!
This one has been on the roadmap for a while — and now it's finally available: Flashcard synchronization across all your devices! Create flashcards on your laptop, review them on your phone, and pick up right where you left off on your tablet.
All your learning progress is now securely stored in the cloud, so you can switch devices without worrying about losing your flashcards or progress. This feature is available to Pro users, so if you are ready to go full power mode, you can upgrade anytime inside the app 🚀
Better flashcard experience
We also made a bunch of smaller improvements that make studying with flashcards feel even better:

Instead of tapping the "Reveal" button, you can now also tap a flashcard to flip it.

Want to listen to the audio of flashcard? Just tap the audio button below it.

Need to look at all the details for a flashcard? Jump straight to its dictionary entry by tapping the dictionary button below it.
Quickly jump to a flashcard's dictionary entry or listen to its audio.
If you have created a few different test profiles (Chinese → English, English → Pinyin, etc.), you are gonna love these:

Test profiles are now sorted so that the ones with with cards ready for review are shown right at the top.

Test profiles that are ready for review are highlighted, so you can easily see which ones need your attention.

What's next?
We still have a lot of cool things planned for the flashcard system and we will keep working on it in the coming months.
However, the next thing we are focusing on is the AI buddy feature. This is going to be a game changer for practicing your Chinese, so stay tuned!
